Patsy Beauchamp, 74, of Pecos, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital.Services were held at 2 p.m., today, Monday, Feb. 2, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Greer Willis officiating.

Robert "Dusty" Caroline, 73, died on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 in Fort Davis. He was born on July 15, 1950 and was serving on the Toyah City Council at the time of his death. Caroline was born on May 19, 1930 to Edmund "Sammy" Caroline and Mary "Bobbie" Caroline in Pecos. He graduated from Pecos High School in 1947 and from Texas Western University in 1954.
Lopez was preceded in death by his wife, Maria R. Lopez and one step-daughter, Bertha Maldonado. Survivors include his wife, Janice Caroline; three daughters, Monica Dorazio of San Antonio, Joni Lloyd of North Platte, Neb. And Jeanne Miller of Las Cruces, N.M; one son, Robert Caroline of Knoxville, Tenn., and nine grandchildren.
The couple lived for 29 years in El Paso, where Caroline was employed by A.G. She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Ruidosa, was a lifetime resident of Pecos, a homemaker and a Baptist. He was born Jan. 20, 1969, in Kermit, grew up in Jal, N.M., where he graduated from high school, attended ENMU in Portales, N.M.

Also surviving are Cook's four brothers, Willis Cook of Beaumont; Gene Cook of Mentone; Ernest Cook of Pecos; and Johnny Cook Sr. of Odessa; as well as his sister Jo Ann Beachamp of San Angelo and one grandchild. Marion Cook, 80, died on Dec. 13, 2003 at 404 Palm St. Cook was born on Aug. 16, 1923 in Terrell, AR, but lived in Pecos where he worked as a welder. Navy during WWII, was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and was the past Commander of the local American Legion post. Cook was a devout Christian and a member of the First Christian Church. Esperanza Franco Saenz, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003 in an El Paso hospital.
On Tuesday, Dec 16 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Ernie Waggoner officiating, and burial following at the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on today at the Pecos Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Olivas was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Olivas. She was preceeded in death by her husband, David Saenz, and three children, Rogelio, Leonico and Tomasita Saenz. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, at First Baptist Church in Midland with Rev. Bob Hopkins officiating. Delfina D. Hinojos, 97, of Midland, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at her residence.

Pallbearers will be Mike Isham, Bobby Kasberg, Randy Gentry, Fernando Reyes, Lee Wilson and Josh Pemberton. R.D. Ross, 83, of Miles died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, in a local hospital. He was born on Nov. 18, 1920, near Deleon, to Cora Etta Bays and Morgan Davis Ross.

Gilberto Barragan Sr, 90 of Pecos, Tx, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Pecos, Tx. Gilberto was born in El Comedor to Pedro and Liberta Barragan on November 30, 1932. He married the love of his life Guadalupe V. Barragan from San Antonio Del Bravo on December 25, 1956 in Los Fresnos, they were married for 57 years.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. J.L. Bass and Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield. "Bill" Lindsey, 93, of Brownfield, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, in Brownfield. Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans is in charge of arrangements. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Monahans with Father John Lucido officiating.
